Problem with Internet Explorer

I wasn't aware of this problem until yesterday. When I tried using Internet Explorer 7 to check this blog, I could only see 1/3 of the page. No side bars and some posts. ??

Works superb with Firefox. Get it here. Or if you live in Nepal, get it here.

If you have problems or don't with IE. Leave a comment. :D

Internet Explorer, as you say, more often than not, does not render pages correctly. Microsoft does indeed deserve some credit for its recent efforts to develop a more standards-aware browser -- IE8 passes the Acid2 test (http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2007/12/19/internet-explorer-8-and-acid2-a-milestone.aspx), although this in itself doesn't cement its commitment to web standards -- but also a lot of flak for peddling a terrible browser to the masses (and pretending web standards don't matter).

Over the past several months, I've seen quite a significant rise in the number of users accessing my website through Firefox, eating into IE's dominance. This is pleasant, but it needs to go further (some are STILL on IE5!). Microsoft doesn't feel the sort of pressure it felt when it was up against Netscape back in the day, but I'm hoping Mozilla will at least eventually prove how important retaining the loyalty of web users might be (especially as we're increasingly moving towards online platforms).

Hopes for IE8, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm totally for Firefox. Btw, finally!!! Firefox 3.0 is coming out and on June 17 they are aiming to set a Guinness world record for the most downloads in 24 hrs. Wonder how many servers they are packing...?
